Lake Purrumbete is one of the best fresh water fishing spots in Victoria and we are a farming family who are lucky enough to own land on the banks of the lake. When a cottage on the farm became vacant it made a lot of sense to go into the holiday market. We now have three cottages which have all been pre-loved, extended, decorated and furnished with lots of fun.

One of 3 self contained cottages located on the shore of Lake Purrumbete. This cottage was previously the house for the manager of the sale yards in Camperdown.
The deck on the east side of the cottage overlooks the lake and is great for a sunny breakfast or a glass of wine in the evening. Undercover car parking with plenty of room for a boat. You will feel a sense of calm and tranquility whilst enjoying the view.

ORCHARD COTTAGE
Two Bedroom Studio, comfortable and cosy.
Lake Purrumbete’s second cottage was once the shearers quarters from a station near Penshurst. This small studio cottage is over 100 years old.
Roomy bathroom and not so roomy kitchenette, although it has all you need. There is plenty of space for parking, horse floats, boats and trailers with easy access in and out of the farm.
$110 per couple per night.

Lake Purrumbete’s third cottage was once the Police Station for the town of Merino, now a three bedroom cottage decorated in earthy tones.
Hose’s has a combined kitchen and living area which opens onto a balcony where you can enjoy the morning sun.
