Situated in the Otway Ranges and only 10 minutes from Colac, Otway Estate offers something for everyone. Our function centre is perfect for your event, regardless of the size – from the small and intimate to the large or corporate – we can cater for weddings, birthdays, conferences and more.
With on site spa accommodation, the Estate offers 3 self contained cottages nestled in the surrounding bushland and looking out to a view of the vines, offering you the perfect retreat from your busy day to day life. Home to Prickly Moses Handcrafted Beer and Forbidden Fruit Ciders, as well as the Estates own range of wines, you are sure to find a favourite beverage during your visit.
Our Estate is Dog Friendly, and we welcome well behaved dogs on lead throughout the Estate, from our Brewery Outlet right through to our Accommodation. We even have an on site dog trainer who runs dog training courses for you and your dog at the Estate.
BREWERY OUTLET
Our Brewery Outlet is open to the public each Friday, Saturday & Sunday from 11am to 5pm.
Come on in and participate in a tasting or two or sit back and relax with a pot or a pint of your favourite beer/cider or a glass of your favourite wine. Enjoy a drink on the deck or whilst relaxing on the couch in front of the wood fire.
Showcasing our Beer, Wines and Ciders, you can browse our Outlet checking out our range of merchandise, decide on your favourite beverage and then purchase at our discounted Brewery Outlet prices!
Offering light meals between 12pm – 2pm, these consist of a range of gourmet pastries (beef pies, chicken pies, spanakopita, sausage rolls, roast vegetable quiche or quiche lorraine) handmade by our exclusive caterers, Sorella Foods and served with a fresh salad. Or perhaps you would prefer to relax with friends and share one of our antipasto platters. (Meals and Tasting paddles may not be available if we have a private function on. Please call ahead to check)
Well behaved dogs are welcome at the Brewery Outlet, and our deck offers water bowls and dog beds so that they can relax in comfort with you. They can even enjoy a specially brewed beef flavoured dog beer made just for them!
OUR ACCOMMODATION
Otway Estate Cottages provide adult accommodation in a peaceful and tranquil environment. If you are after a truly relaxing getaway, Otway Estate Cottages are the place to stay..
Offering 3 cottages, all of which are nestled amongst the bush landscape and looking out over the vines, you will will enjoy the sounds of the birdlife and may even be lucky enough to be visited by some of the local wildlife which call Otway Estate home, including Kangaroos, Wallabies and Echidnas to name just a few.
Each cottage is fully self contained with all the amenities for your getaway. Suited for all seasons, you can curl up in front of the fire in Winter or relax out on the veranda in Summer. Read a book, watch a DVD, listen to some music or laze back in the spa as the jets make the strains of a busy day disappear.
Our cottages are now dog friendly and welcome well mannered dogs. Your canine companion will be well looked after with a bed near the fireplace, their own set of towels, bowls and welcome treats.
Offering two of our one bedroom studio cottages suitable for a couple, or our two bedroom cottage which can accommodate 4 adults (2 couples), you are sure to find the right cottage for a perfect getaway.
WEDDINGS & FUNCTIONS
At Otway Estate we pride ourselves in providing a venue which is suitable for a variety of functions.
Offering a high level of service, catering to suit your budget and of course, the Ultimate in Beer, Wine and Cider, we are only happy to discuss any of the function options with you in detail.
Set in the pristine Otway Hinterland our Estate includes a conference facility, winery, accommodation and micro-brewery. Otway Estate is a superior quality venue with spectacular views over the vines, water and bushland. Our gardens include predominately local native plants which help attract an abundance of wildlife.
Catering from intimate gatherings to large functions, Otway Estate can tailor a package to your needs.
The venue offers a large function facility seating up to 150 with tables or smaller area with a capacity of 35. We can provide conference facilities including data-projector, audio visual equipment and wi-fi access.
